I was tensed when i received a call from a follow blogger telling me about this cult tension in ebonyi state that officers of the special anti robbery squad(SARS) took over the major roads in the state. Though Rumour has it that some cult group who had early clashed during the recent presidential visit in the state begun another clash.
I like the idea used by the squad but its unfair as guys dressed on suit and cooperate attires were asked by the police to pull off their clothes to enable them search you including checking of "boxers", how lucky are the ladies as they moved about with their normal daily activity including watching the drama displayed around Abakaliki major roads.
I managed to interview Master Nweke Tony,an eyewitness around vanco junction in abakaliki as he described the incident as "Nigerian police dey try this days though a policeman asked me to pull off my clothes but i was scared because i thought i have committed an offence as i saw how they dragged guys into their Hilux van,but at last he ask me to disappear" that was master Nwekes view but i ask........What is really happening in Ebonyi?
