The first son of Abia State governor, Chinedum Orji, yesterday won the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, house of assembly ticket for Umuahia Central state constituency.
The primary was held at School Road Primary School, Umuahia, the state capital.
The returning officer, Chief Anayo Nwakodo, said Orji polled 11 out of the 12 total votes cast. One vote was voided.
